Community Volunteer Income Tax Program

Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, community organizations host free tax clinics where volunteers file tax returns for eligible people.

Eligible participants may begin to call the Walkerton Branch Library after March 1 to schedule their time.  Since the clinic is drop-off only, all clients must pick-up an information package at Walkerton Branch Library.  These will be available for clients to pick-up at the Library beginning the week of March 15.  Clinics will begin March 22.

Information packages must be picked up in-person.  These packages must be completed and returned to the Walkerton Branch Library in-person during open hours.

Clients will still be scheduled for a time-slot where they will need to make themselves available for a phone call from the volunteer to verify their return.

Client must pick up completed paperwork in-person.

Clinics end April 28, 2021.
