Join us at Port Elgin Branch for this diversity-awareness film series hosted with Inclusive Communities Committee of Grey Bruce. Each film will be followed by a short Q&A. Admission is free.

April 4: Monsieur Ibrahim

Two unlikely characters – a young Jew and an elderly Muslim begin a friendship. After Momo is abandoned by his father, Ibrahim becomes the one grownup in Momo’s life. Together they begin a journey that will change their lives forever. Rating: 14A

Ben and George take advantage of New York’s new marriage laws and tie the knot after being together fr 39 years. Rating: 14A

April 25: North Country

A fictionalized account of the first major successful sexual harassment case in the United States — Jenson vs. Eveleth Mines, where a woman who endured a range of abuse while working as a miner filed and won the landmark 1984 lawsuit. Rating: 14A

May 2: Indian Horse

Saul is a great native hockey player who overcomes racism in the 1970’s then ultimately becomes tempted by alcoholism. Rating: 14A
