About

The Port Elgin Branch, a Carnegie-funded building, opened in 1918. Once the site of the three-story Royal Hotel, this historic Library has served the community in unique ways over the years. It was once the place where residents obtained their driver's licenses and has also provided a charming backdrop for many weddings.
