About this Library
So what is there to discover?
A stately, Carnegie library located right on main street in Teeswater, the branch received $10,000 from the Carnegie Foundation in 1907. It underwent an accessibility renovation in 2010 that included an elevator, a new foyer, and main entrance. The building had previously housed the municipal office and the Ontario Provincial Police outreach offices. The beautiful hundred year old shelving and tin ceiling remain intact on the second floor.
Interestingly, the librarian who worked at the branch back in time, used to live on the third floor of the library.
