Library Updates

As of Monday, March 1st, all 17 branches of the Bruce County Public Library will be open to the public. For those who would prefer to not come inside the branches, curbside pickup service will continue to be offered.

Patrons are asked to wear a face covering and must maintain proper social distancing while visiting the branches. Public computers will be available for patron use by appointment.

Curbside Pickup requests can be made by calling, emailing, and using our Curbside Pickup Form. Holds can be placed in the online catalogue available through our website or mobile app.

All library items must be returned in the book drop. A bin will be provided during branch hours to return oversized items.
Items are quarantined for 3 days after return. Although they will still show on your account, no fines will accumulate during this time.

A focus on safety of staff and patrons continues to be the Library’s top priority.

Effective Friday, January 1, 2021, Bruce County Public Library will be reinstating overdue fines. Book drops at all 17 branches are open 24/7 for item returns. All items will be quarantined for 3 days and no fines will accumulate during this time. For more information, or if you have any questions or comments, please contact the library via email at libraryinfo@brucecounty.on.ca

Updates will continue to be posted on BCPL’s website and social media channels. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Staff appreciate your patience as we work through the process of reopening. #InThisTogether
